There will be no cost for the evaluation and diagnostic if the repair is covered by major insurance companies like Medicare, Medicaid, or other governmental agencies. If it is a privately funded repair, we charge a diagnostic evaluation fee; however, if you choose to repair with us, the fee will be fully credited to the repair cost.
The repair cost will depend on how much labor it will take to service the equipment, and whether it’s an electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, scooter, or seating system. If there are parts that need to be ordered, a written estimate or quote will be provided before starting the repair.
In most cases, repairs can be done on the same day once the authorization is completed (the authorization process usually takes longer than the actual repair). But if it requires the ordering of a particular part, the service will take longer. This is because the delivery of that part may take a day for overnight shipping or a few days with standard shipping.
Yes. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and we are happy to submit to any insurance company for prior authorization.
